End-of-Year School Events in Baltimore

There’s something about this time of year. It’s not quite the finish line, not quite the beginning—just a stretch where a lot is happening all at once.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been back on a number of campuses—Maryvale Preparatory School, Garrison Forest School, and The Bryn Mawr School—for a mix of end-of-year school events, including alumni gatherings, athletic hall of fame inductions, and senior parent events.

Alumni walk in and fall right back into it. Parents stay a little longer than they planned. Seniors are there, but you can tell they’re already thinking about what’s next.

For us, there’s another layer to it. Many of the alumni coming back now are people we’ve likely catered for when they were students—school functions, celebrations, events that probably felt routine at the time. Now they’re back, a few years later, in a completely different role. That part always sticks with us.

These aren’t the big milestone moments. It’s everything around them—the conversations that run a little longer, the familiar faces, the feeling that something is wrapping up, even if graduation hasn’t happened yet.

As a Baltimore caterer working closely with schools, we’re always glad to be part of these events. Not just because we’re there to serve, but because we get to see it all play out.

To the seniors—congratulations.

And to the schools, families, and alumni who continue to bring us in—thank you. It means a lot to be part of it, and to see it come full circle.
