Position Purpose:

The Classic Catering People is looking for the right people to join our team of Dishwashers for our off-premise catering business in the Baltimore area.

Our Dishwashers will be responsible for:

• Washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Putting away clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, equipment and cafeteria; including sweeping and scrubbing floors.
• May be called upon to assist with basis food preparation.
• Following Company policies and procedures while meeting required safety standards.
• Being outgoing, energetic, service-oriented and possessing excellent communication skills.
• Maintaining a professional and well-kept personal appearance.
• Being a team player and possessing a “can do” attitude.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a sanitation capacity in the cafeteria, restaurant or catering industry
• Ability to be flexible and able to accommodate early mornings, daytime, nights, weekends and holiday hours with access to reliable transportation.
